Pet Portraits on canvas make for a wonderful gift or keepsake.

Here are a few tips and what to consider when photographing your pet to obtain the best reference photo.

- Take the photo up close and at your pets eye level, focusing on the eyes and include the entire head, ears, and body.

- Capturing your pet looking straight at you or slightly turned is ideal.

- Avoid taking the photo standing above, pointing downward, as this will foreshorten your pets body.

- If possible, photograph your pet outside and preferably in the shade.

   This will enhance the reflection in their eyes as well as the highlights on their fur.

- Take numerous photos.

- Minimum fee for my pet portraits start at,  $900

- Minimum canvas size, 12" x 12" on 1.5" Gallery Wrap or regular depth, with a solid color background

- An additional cost will apply for more than one pet on the same canvas.

- An additional cost will apply for a detailed background, ( favourite blanket, etc)
